Youth Gambling
Many aspects of problem behaviors emerge during adolescence. Compared with adults or those younger, adolescents are more likely to take drugs and take risks. Adolescence itself has been called a “time-limited disorder.”
While gambling for most youth is an infrequent and inconsequential pastime, there is a small percentage of adolescents who gamble frequently and experience problems associated with their gambling.
