INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING: DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH AND EDUCATION

The International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG) (www.icrg.org), a global leader in research on gambling disorder and responsible gambling, seeks a full-time
Director of Research and Education to begin in the spring of 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Coordinate the ICRG’s peer-reviewed research grants program.
– Recruit peer reviewers and serve as liaison with the Scientific Advisory Board.
– Plan the content and recruit speakers for the annual conference, the webinar
series and other educational forums.
– Develop promotional materials for all educational programs.
– Coordinate the annual Scientific Achievement Awards.
– Develop proposals for funding research and education.

QUALIFICATIONS
– Graduate degree in related field (e.g., psychology, public health, epidemiology) or
commensurate experience.
– Demonstrated understanding of the field of research on addiction and/or
gambling disorder.
– Minimum of five years of experience in a nonprofit or academic environment.
– Demonstrated ability to translate scientific research for a public audience.
– Experience with planning, promoting and coordinating educational programs.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
– Annual salary range: $100,000 – $125,000
– Retirement plan: 2% match beginning in second year.

– The ICRG is headquartered in Beverly, Massachusetts. Employees may elect to
work at the physical office, remotely or in a hybrid situation.
